Terms of Service
Last updated: May 12, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or connecting Strava, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use RuckTracker.
2. The service
RuckTracker is a companion web platform for the RuckTracker Garmin Connect IQ watch app. It imports rucking activities (via Strava or watch sync), computes calories using the Pandolf equation, stores your history, and optionally appends a report to your Strava activity descriptions.
3. Your account
You're responsible for activity under your account. Don't share credentials. Notify us at support@engsec.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
- Don't upload data you don't have the right to upload.
- Don't use RuckTracker to harass others or violate any law, including Strava's terms of service.
5. Calorie estimates are estimates
The Pandolf equation produces an estimate of metabolic cost based on body weight, pack weight, speed, grade, and terrain. Real energy expenditure depends on many factors we can't measure (fitness, environment, recent meals, mechanics). Don't use RuckTracker numbers as medical advice. Consult a physician before starting a heavy loaded-march program.
6. Strava integration
When connected, RuckTracker reads your activities and (if you enable auto-sync) appends a report block to your activity descriptions. We preserve your existing notes — we only modify the report block we previously inserted, identified by markers. You can disable auto-sync or revoke Strava access at any time. RuckTracker is not affiliated with Strava, Inc.
7. Subscriptions and refunds
Paid features (when available) are sold as either a one-time lifetime unlock or an annual subscription. Refunds within 14 days, no questions asked, by emailing support@engsec.com.
8. Termination
You can delete your account anytime (see Privacy Policy §7). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or that Strava revokes our access for.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
RuckTracker is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or continued availability of third-party integrations (Strava, Garmin, weather providers).
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EngSec LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of RuckTracker. Our total liability is capped at the amount you've paid us in the prior 12 months.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
12. Changes
We'll update this page when material changes occur. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
